Description
The exfoliating action of GLYCOLEA16 ensures through its controlled release a constant and prolonged presence of glycolic acid on the skin and prevents possible irritating reactions occurring with the usual glycolic acid. The regular application of this skin care gently stimulates the epidermal renewal, tightens the pores, helps reduce spots and maintains moisturizing. Results: an even and luminous complexion, a refined and homogeneous skin texture, a smooth and radiant skin.
Sensoriality and comfort of application evaluated by a test of use in 21 volunteer women between 23 and 65 years old during 30 days of evening application:
Texture and fragrance appreciated by 95% of women
For 30% of women, tingling and small tension are described during the first applications and then disappear completely after 3 or 4 applications. A quarter of these women have dry and thin skin.

Active ingredient: glycolic acid
The glycolic acid of natural origin used is derived from biotechnology without preservatives and is obtained from vegetable raw materials.
This very small alpha-hydroxyl acid (AHA) easily crosses the layers of the epidermis. It stimulates cell renewal, contributes to a better oxygenation of the epidermis and helps maintain a good level of hydration of the skin. The improvement of the harmonization of the superficial cells of the epidermis (keratinocytes) induced by this fruit acid leads to a better dispersion of melanin, hence an attenuation of spots by lightening complexion.
Moisturizing oily ingredients help increase the effectiveness and tolerance of the treatment, in particular, shea butter with moisturizing, nourishing and soothing properties and certified organic olive oil that provides hydration and suppleness to the skin.
6% ingredients of synthetic origin
Sodium hydroxide regulates the PH of the cream.
An emollient is used to soften the skin.
Two emulsifiers maintain the stability of the formula and contribute to the sensoriality of the cream.

GLYCOLEA 16: for healthy regenerated and luminous skin
GLYCOLEA 16 is a cream containing a fruit acid, glycolic acid, which ensures through its controlled release a constant and prolonged presence of active substance on the skin and prevents possible irritating reactions occurring with glycolic acid.
Glycolic acid has moisturizing properties and is primarily used for its exfoliating action: it promotes the elimination of dead cells on the surface of the skin and accelerates cell renewal. It helps to maintain a healthy epidermis.
Glycolea 16 is indicated on:
– young and oily skin with an acne tendency: the skin care will unclog pores, refine and improve the skin texture.
– mature skin: the skin care will smooth, decrease irregularities, refine the skin texture, reduce stains, boost and even out the complexion’s brightness. It is therefore an ideal ally to fight against the signs of age.
– thick skin
– dry and oily skin
Glycolea 16 is not recommended on fine skin
Apply in the evening a thin layer of cream to cleansed and dry face and neck, initially 1 evening on 3 or on 2 to get the skin used to the application of glycolic acid. After one week of use, apply daily in the evening or every other evening. Redness or tingling may appear at the beginning of application. In this case, reduce the frequency of application.
Precautions for use
Avoid contact with eyes or any sensitized area. Otherwise rinse thoroughly with water.
Sun exposure is not recommended or sun protection during the whole period of use. It is not recommended to apply it in summer.
Local scrub or aggressive treatments (laser hair removal, IPL…) are not recommended during use.
Keep out of the reach of children.
Store preferably between 4 and 30°C.
